MSK ultrasound is an established method that can be used to depict the anatomy of tendinous, articular, and para-articular structures located in and around the shoulder area. This imaging modality has the great advantage of high-resolution capabilities and the possibility of examining the patient in different positions and using dynamic maneuvers.
